Julie Ziah is an ADG Production Designer based in Los Angeles. She is best known for her design work on Amazon's Golden Globe-winning legal drama GOLIATH starring Billy Bob Thornton, and the Emmy-winning Apple TV+ series LIFE BY ELLA. She recently completed over 40 episodes of the CBS network show S.W.A.T. along with the spin-off series S.W.A.T. EXILES, starring Shamar Moore.
After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with degrees in Fine Arts and Communication Arts, Julie began her career by art directing Mary Sweeny’s feature film BARABOO and continued on to art direct projects such as USA's QUEEN OF THE SOUTH, Paramount+'s WHY WOMEN KILL, and the feature film MAGGIE starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Whether she’s designing high-intensity action environments or gritty character-driven spaces, Julie’s approach is always about authenticity and collaboration. She enjoys the challenge of jumping between genres and focuses on making sure every set fits within the world of the narrative.
